The Rubens Landscapes Supports Project launched on 1 August 2026 and commenced its research. Its research and results will be published online over the course of the six-month duration of the project. The team made its first field trip in September, pictured here in front of The Rainbow Landscape at the Wallace Collection, London. The supports of some 40 landscape paintings on panel will be studies, thanks to the generous support of the Catherine Lewis Foundation.
